Principal Rose let us know in short:

"The component responsible for communicating with the system to pump chlorine into the pool is not functioning properly. Although the control panel indicates that the system is operating and calling for chlorine, the chlorine is not actually being delivered into the pool.

In accordance with California health and safety requirements, a pool cannot remain open without a functioning automated chlorination system because we are unable to guarantee that the water quality standards are being maintained."

Practice will be canceled today, however she is actively working on getting the pool ready for tomorrow. 

"...They have located a vendor who carries the part that we need. I am hoping that tomorrow we will not only have an answer but also a solution and get the pool back up and running."

Jacquie also let me know that she will be dispersing partial refunds for the days missed.
